INBOUND DRIVER CALLS

Inbound driver calls are calls initiated by the driver to uFollowit's incoming or dedicated customer line. Pre-recorded prompts direct the driver to use the keypad on any touchtone phone (land-line or mobile phone) to provide event information (pick-up, in transit status or delivery) for a specific client and load.

Drivers will be asked to record theirs or the consignee's name depending on the event and if there is an issue / exception, the driver can choose between traffic, load, weather, and mechanical or other causes and record a brief message describing the situation.

Upon completion of the calls an email and/or SMS text message will be automatically sent to the interested parties defined for the load. It's that easy... a simple call from the driver that lasts less than a minute will add instant pick-up, delivery and exception notifications to any operations... See how it works below

AUTOMATED OUTBOUND CHECK CALLS

uFollowit's outbound check call service is designed to replace / augment the manual process currently performed by dispatchers, calling drivers to get their current location. This manual calling effort can take as between 2 to 4 hours of the dispatcher's day, where our automated Outbound Check Call service releases dispatches from this tedious task.

Utilizing the uFollowit&trade system, those 4 hours of labor can be reduced and in some cases eliminated freeing up your operations personnel to acquire and cover new business. This automated service calls the driver at the time / interval you define and a pre-recorded prompt will simply ask the driver the name of the nearest city and state of their location. After responding, the recording plays back for the driver, and the call is ended... less than 20 seconds and you have location based information of every load visible in a map. We offer and strongly recommend our clients record a custom message so that a familiar voice is what the driver hears with each call.

uFollowit's system will then translate the driver's response to a coordinate and send out email notifications with a link that will allow you to see a map and the breadcrumb trail of the progress made by the driver since pick-up or last in-transit status. A simple delivery call will automatically stop the scheduled outbound check calls.
